Dyeing Easter eggs: here goes nothing…

Posted on: April 22, 2011

I spent all evening shopping for Saturday’s brunch and finally got some eggs for our centre piece.  I’m planning on dyeing some with my kids tomorrow.  Hopefully some of them will turn out nice enough to put out as a centre piece.

I have a little Paz kit that I picked up last year at Shoppers Drug Mart when they were clearing them out.  If memory serves me correctly, I also have a kista and some beeswax somewhere to decorate tradionnal-looking Easter eggs. I’ve never used this with my son because he was old enough so I may pull it out to use with him.  I won’t hollow out the eggs because it’ll make too fragile for little hands to handle.

I’ll post some pictures when we get started.  I can’t wait, it should be lots of fun 🙂
